Maruti Suzuki aims to regain a 50 percent market share over the next five years by introducing a range of new products, adopting a multi-powertrain strategy and expanding production capacity. Its future lineup is expected to include over a dozen models, comprising all-new products, new-generation versions and facelifts.

The 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift is likely to come with the Fronx’s 1.0L turbo petrol engine and a new 6-speed manual gearbox. Its CNG version is expected to feature an underbody-mounted CNG tank, similar to the Victoris. The updated Maruti Fronx could be launched with an ADAS suite and a strong hybrid powertrain, while its flex-fuel version is reported to arrive this year.
Speculations suggest that the Maruti YMC (codenamed) electric MPV might share its platform and powertrain with the e Vitara. The carmaker is also working on a premium three-row SUV, which will be based on the Grand Vitara sharing powertrain, platform, features and components. The next-generation Maruti Baleno is also in pipeline, and is expected to arrive with a strong hybrid powertrain.
While the Maruti Grand Vitara facelift is likely to arrive this year with a Dolby Atmos audio system and Level 2 ADAS, the Maruti Ertiga will receive a generational upgrade in 2027. Maruti Suzuki is also planning a new micro SUV to challenge the Tata Punch and Hyundai Exter, which could be potentially replace the Ignis.
The Suzuki Spacia-based compact MPV will also be part of the future lineup, and will be positioned against the Renault Triber and Nissan Gravite. While the e Vitara caters the premium midsize EV segment, the upcoming Maruti EWX EV will be a small electric hatchback competing with the Tata Tiago EV and MG Comet. The new-generation Maruti Brezza and Swift are expected to come with comprehensive upgrades along with a newly-developed in-house strong hybrid powertrain.
