2 All-New Mahindra SUVs Coming Soon – Tata Nexon & Harrier EV Rivals


The upcoming Mahindra Vision S and Mahindra BE 07 BEV (battery electric vehicle) are undergoing extensive testing ahead of their official debut in late 2026. The Vision S will be Mahindra’s first production model to be built on the new NU-IQ architecture, which supports multiple powertrains including ICE (internal combustion engine) and electric. This monocoque platform is also compatible with both FWD (front-wheel drive) and AWD (all-wheel drive) systems.

Mahindra Vision S – What to Expect?

The Mahindra Vision S will be a sub-4 metre rugged lifestyle SUV, which will directly rival the upcoming Renault Bridger and Tata Sacarlet. In terms of pricing, it is also expected to take on the existing subcompact SUVs including the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza and Skoda Kyalq.

Multiple spy shots suggest that the production-ready Vision S will look largely similar to its concept version. Inside, the SUV is expected of feature a large infotainment system along with a dashboard integrated TFT instrument cluster, possibly measuring around 12.3-inch. Higher trims are expected to be offered with leatherette seats, ventilated and powered seats, electric parking brake, a 360-degree camera, radar-based Level 2 ADAS and more.

Mahindra BE 07 – What to Expect?

The Mahindra BE 07 will be the brand’s second model under the ‘BE’ sub-brand and the fourth vehicle based on the INGLO EV platform in India. While official powertrain details are yet to be revealed, the electric SUV is expected to share the 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs with the BE 6. Its range is likely to be over 500km on a full charge.

Visually, the BE 07 will share a strong resemblance with its concept. Spy images reveal that the production-ready version will feature angular projector headlamps, flush-fitting door handles, blacked-out alloy wheels, front parking sensors, a sloping roofline and vertically positioned LED taillamps.

Positioned as a premium EV, the Mahindra BE 07 is expected to packed with several advanced features such as Level 2 ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual screen setup, ventilated front seats and more.
