Maruti Suzuki recently introduced its first-ever electric SUV, the e Vitara, at a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh. The EV also comes with a BaaS (Battery-as-a-Service) scheme, making it more accessible for customers. The Indo-Japanese automaker is now gearing up to launch the facelift of the Brezza and Fronx flex fuel. The updated Brezza is currently doing test rounds and has been caught on camera multiple times.
The new 2026 Maruti Brezza is expected to arrive in the coming months, while the Fronx flex fuel might hit showrooms in the second half of this year. Here’re the key details of these upcoming Maruti SUVs we know so far.
New Maruti Brezza Facelift

The 2026 Maruti Brezza is expected to come with slightly revised styling, a few new features and a new 1.0L turbo petrol engine. The turbo-petrol engine, borrowed from the Fronx, will be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The existing 1.5L petrol and CNG powertrain will continue to be on offer.
Inside, the updated Brezza might get a larger touchscreen infotainment system, possibly sourced from the Victoris. New trims, upholstery and features are also expected. On the exterior, the facelifted version could feature revised bumpers, new alloy wheels and connected LED taillamps.
Maruti Fronx Flex Fuel
Engine specifications of the Maruti Fronx Flex Fuel (FFV) are not available yet. However, the model will be capable of running on petrol with an ethanol blend ranging from 20 percent to 85 percent. Save for the green flex fuel monikers, the Fronx FFV will look exactly similar to its ICE counterpart. Dimensionally, the compact crossover will continue to measure 3,995 mm in length, 1,765 mm in width and 1,550 mm in height.
The Maruti Fronx facelift is also planned for 2027. The updated version could be offered with subtle design changes and feature enhancements. However, the major upgrade will come in the form of ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) suite and the brand’s in-house developed strong hybrid powertrain.
