JSW MG Motor India plans to expand its product portfolio this year with four new models, including the Majestor and a plug-in hybrid SUV. The Starline 560 plug-in hybrid SUV is available with a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine, paired with a 194bhp electric motor and a 9.5kWh- 20.5kWh LFP battery pack. It offers a combined range of 1,110km and a fuel efficiency of 5.3-litre per 100km.
Dimensionally, the MG plug-in hybrid SUV is expected to be similar to the Starlight 560, which is 4,745mm in length, 1,850mm in width and 1,755mm-1,770mm in height. Similar to its donor model, it could be offered with both 5 and 7-seats configurations. It will go head-to-head against the Mahindra XUV 7XO.
