2026 Bajaj Chetak Launched – Cheaper, Faster & More Features


The 2026 Bajaj Chetak range has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 91,504 (ex-showroom). While the entry-level variant is now nearly Rs 5,000 more affordable than before, select variants have become more expensive. The updated electric scooter receives a new naming convention with a ‘C’ suffix ‘C’ along with improvements in charging time and performance.

The lower variants now offer better value for money with the additional new features. The Chetak lineup is now available across in five variants – C2501, C3001, C3501, C3502 and C3503.

Improved Top Speed & Charging Time

The entry-level C2501 variant now offers a top speed of 60kmph, up from 55kmph. The C3001 and C3503 variants can attain a maximum speed of 70kmph, while the top-end C3501 and C3502 deliver a top speed of 80kmph. The battery capacity of the top-end C3501 has also been increased to 4.8kW, up from 4.5kW.

Customers can now fast charge the C3001 variant from 0 to 80% in 2 hours 55 minutes, compared to the earlier 3 hours 50 minutes.

New 2026 Bajaj Chetak Features

The top-end variants are now more feature-rich, offering Google Maps integration via the smartphone app and OTA (Over-the-Air) updates. The C2501 and C3001 variants offer two riding modes – Eco and Sprots, along with hill-hold assist as standard, features that were previously optional. Turn-by-turn navigation is available as an optional feature across all variants.
