More interesting details of the upcoming Maruti Brezza facelift have emerged online through new spy images. The fresh set of pictures confirms that the subcompact SUV will receive noticeable changes to its cabin layout along with a new transmission. The updated Brezza could be the brand’s first petrol model to feature a 6-speed manual gearbox. It will also feature a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, borrowed from the Maruti Victoris.
While official details will be revealed closer to its launch, the new Maruti Brezza facelift is expected to offer new cabin theme, revised trims and updated upholstery. Other highlights might include an updated digital driver’s display, a new audio system and ventilated seats. Subtle changes are expected for the exterior including revised bumpers, newly-designed alloy wheels and more.

Same NA Petrol Engine
The new Maruti Brezza is expected to come with the existing 1.5L K15C naturally aspirated petrol engine that’s good enough for 101bhp and 139Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic unit.
New Engine & Underbody CNG?
Reports suggest that Maruti Suzuki might introduce a new 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine on the updated lineup, sourced from the Maruti Fronx. This motor could be paired with the new 6-speed manual gearbox. The existing CNG powertrain will also be on offer. However, the facelifted model could get an underbody CNG tank setup, freeing up cargo space, which was first introduced in the Victoris.
Expected Pricing & Competition
The official launch timeline has yet to be revealed. However, the new Maruti Brezza facelift is expected to debut around the 2026 Diwali season or early next year. At present, the SUV lineup is available within the price range of Rs 8.25 lakh – Rs 13.01 lakh. Considering the minor exterior and interior updates along with the new engine and gearbox options, the facelifted model could witness a price hike.
In the subcompact SUV segment, the updated Brezza will continue to go head-to-head against the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Skoda Kylaq, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
