The much-awaited 2026 Tata Harrier and Safari petrol SUVs are finally here. Prices of the Tata Harrier petrol start from Rs 12.89 lakh and go up to Rs 24.69 lakh for the new top-end Fearless Ultra Red Dark variant. Meanwhile, the 2026 Tata Safari petrol lineup is being offered within the price range of Rs 13.29 lakh – Rs 25.20 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom.

Both SUVs are offered with Tata Motors’ new 1.5L TGDI petrol engine, generating a maximum power of 170bhp and 280Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. The SUVs come with a FWD (front-wheel drive) system.
Exclusive Features
The 2026 Tata Harrier petrol receives a new Crimson Nitro colour scheme, ORVMs with a memory function and front and rear cameras with washers. Inside, the petrol variant gets a lighter shade theme, faux wood with silver pinstriping on the dashboard and Harrier EV-borrowed 14.53-inch QLED touchscreen and Dolby Atmos tech.
The 2026 Tata Safari petrol comes with a new Accomplished Ultra top trim, offering features such as Dolby Atmos, a 65W Type-C port, a digital IRVM with an in-built dashcam, a Samsung 14.53-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ORVMs with a memory function, and a wash function for the reverse cameras. The petrol version is exclusively offered with a White and Brown cabin theme.
Competition
In terms of competition, the Tata Harrier petrol takes on the MG Hector, while the Tata Safari petrol goes head-to-head against the Mahindra XUV 7XO, MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alcazar.
