2026 Tata Punch EV Facelift – Design, Interior, Specs Explained


The new Tata Punch EV facelift has finally been revealed ahead of its market launch on 20th February, 2026. Bookings are expected to open closer to the launch date. The official image shows the 2026 Tata Punch EV in a new ‘Sunlit Yellow’ paint scheme, featuring a black roof and a significantly updated front fascia.

Unlike the pre-facelift version, which has black trim connecting the headlamps and LED DRLs, the facelifted model does away with this element. The closed-off grille now appears cleaner and sleeker than before. The front bumper and scuff plate have also been revised. The updated Punch EV also comes with the newly-designed aero-optimized alloy wheels appear similar to the Nexon EV.

Interior details of the 2026 Tata Punch EV facelift are still under the wraps. However, it’s expected to feature a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, borrowed from the Nexon EV along with an updated software. New upholstery and interior trims are also expected.

Meanwhile, the Punch EV is expected to carry forward all goodies available on the pre-facelift version including a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, 360-degree cameras, ambient lighting, connected car tech, auto dimming IRVM and more. Speculations are on rife that the facelifted model could be offered with a Level 2 ADAS (autonomous driving assistance system) suite.

New Tata Punch EV 2026: Battery & Range

Mechanically, the 2025 Tata Punch EV facelift are likely to retain the existing 25kWh and 35kWh battery pack options. The smaller battery version offers an ARAI-claimed range of 265km, while the larger battery variant delivers a claimed range of 365km on a single charge.

The 25kWh battery comes paired with an electric motor producing 82bhp and 114Nm, whereas the 35kWh battery pack is mated with a more powerful motor generating 122hp and 190Nm.

Expected Price Hike

The new Punch EV might see a minimal price hike. The pre-facelift lineup is currently available within the price range of Rs 9.99 lakh – Rs 14.44 lakh (ex-showroom).
