2026 Tata Tiago Facelift Launch On May 28 – New Features, Same Engines?


Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the updated Tiago hatchback on May 28, 2026. While the official details will be revealed in the coming days, the facelifted model is likely to receive minimal design changes and feature enhancements. The engine setup, however, is expected to remain unchanged. The new 2026 Tata Tiago facelift has been doing test rounds for sometime, and several spy shots already revealed a few interesting details.

Styling Updates

The new Tata Tiago 2026 facelift is expected to feature redesigned headlamps, LED turn indicators at the front and rear, newly-designed alloy wheels with geometrical pattern and revised taillamps. The overall dimensions are expected to remain unchanged. The hatchback will continue to measure 3,767mm in length, 1,677mm in width and 1,535mm in height. It sits on a 2,400mm long wheelbase and offers a ground clearance of up to 170mm.

Expected Features

Interior details are still under the wraps. However, the new 2026 Tata Tiago facelift is expected to come with a 7-inch TFT instrument console, a wireless charging pad, rear AC vents, centre and rear armrests and rear adjustable headrests.

As mentioned above, the new Tata Tiago 2026 facelift is likely to retain the existing 1.2L, three-cylinder Revotron naturally aspirated petrol engine. This motor, with 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options, delivers a claimed power of 86PS and 113Nm of torque. The hatchback’s CNG version will continue to feature the 1.2L petrol engine paired with a CNG kit. This setup produces a maximum power of 73PS and 95Nm of torque.

Tata claims that the Tiago petrol variant offers a fuel efficiency of 19-20kmpl, while the CNG version returns between 26.49-28.06 km/kg. Both versions come with FWD (front-wheel drive) system.
