2027 Hyundai Creta Coming Soon – Bigger, Bolder, Smarter & Hybrid

Internally codenamed SX3, the next-generation Hyundai Creta is set to be one of the biggest new car launches of next year. While Hyundai has yet to announce its debut and launch details, the all-new model is expected to make its first public appearance at the 2027 Bharat Mobility Show in February. Its market launch is likely to follow in the subsequent months. The new 2027 Hyundai Creta is currently undergoing extensive testing, and multiple spy shots and videos have already revealed several interesting details.

Bolder Design

The all-new Hyundai Creta will feature a more mature and evolved design language and underpin the brand’s new and safer K3 architecture. Spy images revealed vertically positioned LED taillamp elements connected by a full-width light bar, a more squared-off rear, a panoramic sunroof and a flatter roofline. Hyundai might also equip the new Creta with larger, newly-designed alloy wheels.

Bigger Dimensions

In addition to its bolder design language, the new 2027 Hyundai Creta will be longer, wider and more spacious than the current model. Its overall length is expected to be around 4,500mm, thanks to its new K3 platform. This new architecture has been designed to support both electric and hybrid powertrains. Compared to the current generation model’s 433-litres boot space, the new Creta will offer greater luggage capacity.

Smarter Tech

The new 2027 Hyundai Creta will mark debut of the band’s latest Pleos Connect infotainment system, making it a software defined vehicle (SDV). The system support Gleo AI, modular apps and comprehensive OTA (over-the-air) software updates. Hyundai might also introduce a Level 2+ ADAS suite with the new-generation SUV.

Hybrid Powertrain

As a part of its full generational upgrade, the new 2027 Hyundai Creta will go hybrid. Hyundai’s new hybrid powertrain could be based on its tried-and-tested 1.2L petrol engine. Alongside the hybrid variant, the third-generation Creta will also be available with the existing 1.5L petrol and diesel engine options.
