MUZAFFARNAGAR: A 22-year-old farmer died and two others sustained injuries after a tractor overturned on the Meerut-Karnal highway in Uttar Pradesh’s Shamli district, police said on Saturday. The incident took place near Agdipur village on Friday when the victims were on their way to work in their fields, officials said, according to news agency PTI. Station House Officer Virendra Kasana said the deceased has been identified as Ankit, and the body has been sent for post-mortem examination. The injured persons have been admitted to a nearby hospital, he added.
