The new 2026 Hyundai Verna facelift has been launched in India with over 25 updates made inside and out, while retaining the previous engine options. The sedan lineup is now available in five trims – HX2, HX4, HX6, HX8 and HX10, priced between Rs 10.98 lakh – Rs 18.25 lakh. The 1.5L turbo petrol engine is exclusive to HX8 and HX10 trims, priced from Rs 16.28 lakh to Rs 18.25 lakh. In this price range, the new Hyundai Verna will continue to take head-to-head against the Skoda Slavia, Volkswagen Virtus and Honda City.

What’s New Inside & Out?

Starting with the design changes, the new Hyundai Verna features a black chrome radiator grille, dual LED projector headlamps, redesigned bumpers, and R16 diamond cut alloy wheels. The rest of the design elements are similar to the previous version. While dimensions remain unchanged, igets new Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte colour options.
Significant upgrades are made inside the cabin. The sedan now features a D-cut steering wheel, a dual screen setup (each measuring 10.25-inch), wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, electric sunroof, smartphone wireless charger and blind spot view monitor.
Several Segment-First Features
The new Verna facelift also offers several first-in-segment features such as Bose premium sound system with 8 speakers, switchable-type infotainment and auto climate controller, dashcam, rear window sunshade, smart trunk, passenger seat electric walk-in device, driver memory seat with welcome retract function, surround view monitor and 7 airbags.

Other highlights include 8-way electrically adjustable driver seat, front ventilated seats, smart key with push button start, Hyundai SmartSence Level 2 ADAS with 20 features, hill start assist control, electronic stability control with VSM, front disc brakes, ABS with EBD, three-point seatbelts, seat belt reminder for all seats, rear parking sensors and Isofix.
Same Petrol Engines
The new Hyundai Verna facelift is available with the same 1.5L MPi petrol and 1.5L GDi petrol engines. The turbo-petrol engine is the most powerful engine in its segment, offering power worth 160 PS with 253 Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual (standard), an iVT (available only with the 1.5L MPi petrol engine) and a 7-speed DCT (available only with the 1.5L turbo GDi petrol engine).
