It seems unlikely that Apple stores will have iPhone Duo units for you to handle before pre-orders start in mid-October – but you don’t have to wait that long to spin around a virtual Duo, thanks to our partners at Binkies3D.
The cool thing about this 3D model is that you can open and close the phone – just hit the button under the zoom button. This way you can see what the phone looks like in both states. You can also tap on the color names to view both paint jobs.

We also have 3D models for the iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone 18 Pro Max in our database (scroll to the bottom). However, there isn’t much to look at other than the slightly smaller pill-shaped hole for the Face ID system and the FaceTime camera and the new Burgundy color.
You can even put the iPhone 18 Pro Max next to the 17 Pro Max – this makes it easier to notice that the punch hole is indeed smaller. And that if it wasn’t for the new color, people wouldn’t notice that you have the 2026 model.
Anyway, the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max are already on pre-order and will become available on Friday (September 18). The iPhone Duo pre-orders start on October 16 and availability is set for October 23. You can read our hot take on the new iPhones.
