Aiming to achieve net-zero emissions by 2045, Tata Motors plans to invest heavily in green mobility solutions including CNG models, electric vehicles (EVs) and hydrogen fuel cell technology. With its upcoming range of EVs, the homegrown automaker aims to command a 45-50% share of the Indian EV market by 2030.
In 2026, Tata Motors is set to launch four major products including the Tiago EV facelift, Sierra EV, Safari EV and the first model under the premium Avinya EV brand. Recently, the carmaker also confirmed launch of its first flex fuel vehicle will arrive by the end of 2026 or early 2027.
Tata Tiago EV
The latest spy shots reveal that the new 2026 Tata Tiago EV will feature a significantly revised front fascia. The hatchback will get newly-designed grille, tweaked bumper and redesigned headlamps. Other highlights will include new alloy wheels, revised connected taillamps and, new rear bumper. Tata Sierra EV
Tata has confirmed that the Sierra EV will be available with both RWD and AWD drivetrain configurations. The EV might feature an IDU (integrated drive unit) similar to the Punch EV. The Tata Sierra EV could be offered with the Harrier EV’s 65kWh and 75kWh battery pack options. The SUV is likely to receive a few EV-specific changes inside and out. Read More…

Tata Safari EV
After a long wait, the Tata Safari EV is finally ready to hit Indian roads. Underpinning Acti.ev+ platform, the 7-seater EV is likely to share powertrains with the Harrier EV. Higher variants might get a dual-motor AWD option. The Safari EV is expected to offer a driving range of over 500km per charge. Tata Avinya EV
Tata’s premium EV brand, Avinya is set to debut in late 2026, followed by launch in 2027. The Tata Avinya range will be designed on Tata’s Gen-3 skateboard EV architecture and come with advanced battery technology, high-range performance and ultrafast charging. Tata Punch Flex Fuel
The carmaker recently confirmed launch of its first flex-fuel vehicle for late 2026 or early 2027. It’s likely to be the production version of the Tata Punch flex fuel, which was showcased as a concept at the Bharat Mobility Show 2025. It might feature the same 1.2L, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that powers the standard Punch.
