Amid increasing competition, Hyundai Motor India plans to expand its product portfolio with 26 new models by 2030. The lineup will include 7-8 all-new nameplates, facelifts and new variants, across internal combustion engine (ICE), hybrid and electric vehicle (EV) segments.
Over the next five years, the carmaker will introduce six major SUVs including the Hyundai Bayon-based midsize SUV, next-generation Hyundai Creta, Hyundai HE1i compact EV, Hyundai Ni1i three-row hybrid SUV, Hyundai Palisade and an off-road SUV.

Hyundai Bayon
Codenamed Bc4i, the Hyundai Bayon-based SUV is slated to arrive during the 2026 Diwali festive season. Initially, it could be offered with naturally aspirated petrol and dual-cylinder CNG powertrain options. The South Korean automaker will also introduce a new sub-4m electric SUV in the second half of the 2026. Next-Gen Hyundai Creta
The third-generation Hyundai Creta is expected to hit roads in the first half of 2027. It could be the brand’s first hybrid model in India, featuring a 1.5L petrol-based hybrid powertrain. The existing 1.5L NA petrol, turbo petrol and diesel engine might also be carried forward. Hyundai has confirmed its entry into two brand new segments in India – MPV and off-road SUV. However, the official details about the upcoming Hyundai off-road SUV are not available at the moment.
