Kia India has released a new teaser of the upcoming Sorento three-row premium SUV ahead of its market launch. Official pre-bookings for the SUV are now open across all Kia dealerships. Interestingly, the Kia Sorento will be the brand’s first strong hybrid model in the Indian market. The SUV is likely to go on sale in late September or early October, 2026.

The Sorento diesel could be offered with either a 2.0L or 2.2L engine.

Seating Capacity

According to leaked information, the Kia Sorento will be available with both 6 and 7-seat configuration options. The 6-seater variant will feature captain seats in the middle row, while the 7-seater version will offer a bench-type seat second-row seat.

It’s expected to be offered with features such as a dual 12.3-inch panoramic curved display setup, OTA software updates, Kia Connect connected car tech, dual-zone automatic climate control, terrain modes, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, USB Type-C charging ports for all row, built-in navigation, HUD (head-up display), wireless phone charger, Bose sound system and more.
