The Redmi M100 has become official in China, having been quietly listed on the Xiaomi website. The phone has a 6.9-inch LCD screen with a 720×1600 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 825-nit peak brightness. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 SoC.

It has a 13MP rear camera, a 5MP selfie camera, and a 7,900 mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. The phone runs HyperOS 3. It measures 170.12 x 78.42 x 8.8 mm and weighs 232g.

It is available in Wilderness Green, Star Rain White, and Deep Night Black (machine translated from Chinese). You will be able to buy it in three RAM/storage configurations: 8/128GB, 6/256GB, and 8/256GB. Pricing starts at CNY 1,999, which right now translates to roughly $296.

It’s unclear if Redmi plans to launch the M100 outside of China, but the upcoming Poco M8x sure does look very similar, and the specs that have so far been officially confirmed match the M100’s, so we wouldn’t at all be surprised if the Poco M8x turns out to be a rebranded Redmi M100 for international markets.
