Recent leaks suggest the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra will feature a redesigned rear camera setup with one fewer sensor than the Galaxy S26 Ultra. However, a newly leaked CAD render shows a completely different camera design from those seen in previous leaks.
Well-known tipster Ice Universe shared an alleged CAD render of the Galaxy S27 Ultra on X.
The render shows an iPhone 17 Pro-like rear camera plateau, with two sensors in separate cutouts and a third camera alongside the flash in a pill-shaped cutout.
According to the tipster, the pill-shaped cutout could house a 5x telephoto camera, which is rumoured to replace the 3x telephoto camera on the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Meanwhile, tipster Sonny Dickson has shared two more CAD renders of the Galaxy S27 Ultra.
Dickson claims that Samsung could offer the upcoming Ultra phone in two different sizes, as seen in the renders.
These CAD renders should be taken with a grain of salt, as earlier leaks pointed to a horizontal rear camera module on the Galaxy S27 Ultra.
