A big announcement has come from Hyundai. At the brand’s 2026 CEO Investor Day, Hyundai confirmed 26 launches in India by 2030, including the next-generation Creta midsize SUV, the new-gen i10 hatchback and a new A-segment electric SUV. The company’s long-term product strategy also includes the introduction of the Genesis luxury car brand in India in 2027.

The new-gen Hyundai Creta is expected to hit the roads in early 2027, with a possible debut at the Bharat Mobility Show. The SUV has been undergoing testing for a long time and has been spotted numerous times, both with and without camouflage, revealing several interesting design and interior details.

2027 Hyundai Creta – What to Expect?

The biggest upgrade will be made to its underpinning. The next-gen Hyundai Creta will be designed on the brand’s new and safer K3 architecture, which enables improved proportions and a long wheelbase. Spy images confirm that the all-new Creta will be longer, wider and more spacious than the outgoing model, thanks to the modular K3 platform.

Inside the cabin, the 2027 Hyundai Creta will feature the brand’s new Pleos Connect infotainment system, comprising a larger central touchscreen and driver’s display. The SUV might also be offered with new upholstery and trims, rear seats headrests and more.

The new-gen Creta will become Hyundai’s first strong hybrid offering in the Indian market. While its powertrain details are still under the wraps, the SUV is reported to feature an electrified version of the 1.5L petrol engine. The existing 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, turbo petrol and diesel engines will also be carried over.

2027 Hyundai i10 – What to Expect?

Details of the next-generation Hyundai i10 are scarce at the moment. However, the hatchback is likely to underpin a new platform and receive comprehensive design changes and feature enhancements over the current generation.

Mechanically, the 2027 Hyundai i10 is likely to retain the existing 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol and CNG powertrain options. Both manual and AMT gearboxes will continue to be on offer.
