As we approach the festive season, OEMs have rolled out attractive discount schemes across their model ranges. These offers are available in the form of cash discounts, exchange or scrappage bonus, corporate benefits and loyalty benefits. Volkswagen, the German automaker, has also announced discount offers on some of its popular models, including the Taigun midsize SUV.

The Volkswagen Taigun is currently priced between Rs 11 lakh – Rs 19.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Customers can save up to Rs 3 lakh on the MY2025 Taigun, while the MY2026 version is available with benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh.

Volkswagen Taigun Discount Offers Explained

The MY2025 VW Taigun is currently offered with a cash discount of up to Rs 2 lakh along with liquidation support of Rs 1 lakh, taking the total benefits to Rs 3 lakh. Meanwhile, the MY2026 version is running on a cash discount of up to Rs 1 lakh. Eligible buyers can also avail an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 or a scrappage benefit of Rs 20,000 and a loyalty benefit of Rs 20,000.

The 2026 Volkswagen Taigun Topline AT and GT Plus DSG Sport are offered with a cash discount of Rs 25,000, while the GT Line gets a cash benefit of Rs 20,000. Select variants are also eligible for an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 or a scrappage benefit of Rs 20,000 along with a loyalty bonus of Rs 20,000.

Volkswagen Taigun Key Details

Launched earlier this year, the VW Taigun facelift comes with subtle design changes and feature enhancements while retaining the engine setup. The SUV is currently available with a 115bhp, 1.0-litre and 150bhp, 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine options. With the midlife update, the Taigun 1.0 TSI version has received an 8-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox.

Inside, the Taigun SUV gets a new 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, an updated 10.1-inch infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 6-speaker sound system, a wireless charging pad and more.
