JSW MG Motor India recently launched the Hector Tomahawk EV and Hector Tomahawk PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) SUVs at a starting price of Rs 19.49 lakh and Rs 25.70 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. Battery, Range & Charging Time
The new MG 7-seater electric SUV comes with a 69.2kWh battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor that generates 204bhp and 310Nm of torque. It’s claimed to offer a range of 517km on the MIDC cycle. The EV accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in 8.2 seconds.
Using a 90kW DC fast charger, the Hector Tomahawk EV takes around 35 minutes to charge from 30 to 80 percent. It can be fully charged using a 7.4kW AC charger in around 12.5 hours. It also supports a portable charger. It comes with vehicle-to-load (V2L), vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and V2H (vehicle-to-home) functionalities.
