The second batch of the Skoda Octavia RS has been introduced in India at Rs 56.69 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s nearly Rs 6.70 lakh more expensive than the first batch, which was available at Rs 49.99 lakh. Furthermore, Skoda has limited the second batch to just 50 units, compared to 100 units in the first batch. Deliveries of the allotted 50 units of the Octavia RS will in the second week of September, 2026.

Power & Performance

Powering the Skoda Octavia RS is the Volkswagen Group’s tried-and-tested 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine, which also powers the Volkswagen Golf GTI. This engine, paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, delivers a maximum power of 265bhp and 370Nm of torque.

The performance sedan comes with a FWD (front-wheel drive) system. It does 0 to 100kmph in 6.4 seconds, and has an electronic speed limit of 250kmph. Unlike the global-spec version, the India-bound Octavia RS misses out on Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC).

Design, Dimensions & Colours

The Octavia RS follows Skoda’s bold design language with a sharper, sportier stance. It features full LED Matrix headlights, LED tail lamps with dynamic indicators, glossy black details and 19-inch Elias anthracite alloy wheels with 225/40 R19 sports tyres.

The performance sedan measures 4,709 mm in length, 1,829 mm in width, 1,457 mm in height with a 2,677 mm wheelbase. It offers a 600-litre boot, expandable to 1,555 litres, preserves everyday practicality. The second batch is available in Mamba Green, Velvet Red and Magic Black.

Interior & Features

Inside, the Skoda Octavia RS features Suedia Leather upholstery with red contrast stitching, electrically adjustable Sports front seats with memory, heating and massage functions, ambient lighting and a Virtual Cockpit set the tone.

The features list includes three-zone climate control, wireless charging and a 32.77 cm infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ADAS, 10 airbags, a 360-degree Area View camera, ISOFIX child-seat mounts, a Head-Up Display, a Canton 675W 11-speaker sound system with subwoofer, driving stability systems, and an electrically operated boot with virtual pedal.
