A few days ago, the Samsung Galaxy A08 was listed by an online retailer in the UAE, and now the Korean company has decided to make it official, with no fanfare, no official press release, nothing like that. Samsung has just simply added the Galaxy A08 to its website in both Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The device comes with a 6.7-inch PLS LCD screen with 720×1600 resolution, a 50MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP f/2.4 auxiliary rear camera, an 8MP front camera, and a 6,000 mAh battery.

It’s powered by an unnamed chipset with a 2.2GHz octa-core CPU. This is paired with 4GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The device is running Android 17 with One UI 9 on top, and is promised to receive six major OS upgrades and six years of security updates.

The phone is IP64 rated for dust and water resistance, supports dual-SIM, has a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a fingerprint sensor. The A08 comes in silver, green, and dark blue. These are all the details that Samsung has revealed about the Galaxy A08. Pricing is still unknown in Europe, but over in the UAE it was going for around $170.

Compared to the Galaxy A07, the only difference seems to be that the A08 has a 1,000 mAh bigger battery.
