Meta’s smart glasses have been quite successful so far, but many people may not need or want a pair with a camera. Thankfully, the company seems intent on serving those people too, if a new report turns out to be accurate.
Meta is allegedly developing a pair of smart glasses without a camera. These will be called Luna. They are expected to be unveiled during Meta’s annual developer conference scheduled to take place on September 23 and 24. The Meta Luna will then ship in October, apparently.
These are the Meta Glasses with a camera
The new glasses will have six built-in microphones as well as speakers pointed towards the wearer’s ears. They will of course have Meta AI inside, which you’ll be able to talk to. There will be a button on the side to quickly activate the AI.
