Škoda Auto India has announced a price increase of up to 1.2% across its range of vehicles, effective October 1, 2026. The price hike is attributed to rising input and operational costs. The revision will result in an increase of up to 1.2% at ex-showroom level across the brand’s India portfolio. The price increase varies by model and variant with the maximum increase capped at Rs 20,000.

The brand recorded its biggest year of sales in 2025 with 72,655 cars sold. It also registered its highest ever H1 sales in 2026 and as of August 2026 has sold over 50,000 units, marking a growth of over 8% compared to the same period last year.

Škoda Auto India has sold over 250,000 locally manufactured cars during this growth phase, including the Kylaq, Kushaq and Slavia. Of these, over 75,000 units are of the Kylaq. The company’s growth has also been driven by the expansion of its network which numbers over 345 touchpoints across 193 cities as of date.

Skoda Slavia Facelift Launching Soon

The new Skoda Slavia facelift is set to launch on October 6, 2026. Bookings for the updated model are already underway at Rs 15,000.

On the exterior, the new Slavia features revised headlamps and taillamps, tweaked bumpers and newly-designed 16-inch alloy wheels. The model lineup also gets new Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige colour schemes.

Inside the cabin, the 2026 Skoda Slavia gets a new 10.1-inch infotainment system with updated graphics, a larger 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a rear seat massager, powered and ventilated front seats, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and updated AC unit.

Under the hood, the new Slavia continues to feature the 115bhp, 1.0-litre and 150bhp, 1.5-litre direct-injection turbo petrol engines. The 1.0-litre engine is now available with a new 8-speed automatic gearbox, alongside the 6-speed manual transmission. The 1.5-litre engine continues to be offered exclusively with a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
