New Honda SUV Bookings Open at Rs 21,000; Launch On October 6


Official bookings for the upcoming Honda Elevate facelift have commenced nationwide for a token sum of Rs 21,000. Ahead of its launch on October 6, Honda Cars India has released a teaser video of the updated model, revealing key exterior and interior elements. The new 2026 Honda Elevate facelift is expected to retain the existing engine and transmission setup.

Design Highlights

The teaser confirm that the new Honda Elevate will feature a redesigned grille with glossy hexagonal design elements, City-inspired segmented LED DRLs and a slightly repositioned Honda logo. However, the headlamp and fog lamp assemblies remain unchanged. The SUV will also continue to offer a LaneWatch camera system.

New Elements & Features

Inside the cabin, the new 2026 Honda Elevate facelift will feature a slightly redesigned dashboard with amber ambient lighting strips along with white leatherette padding and stitching.

Most of the features are expected to be carried over from the current model, including dual zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless phone charger, six-speaker sound system, semi-analogue instrument cluster with 7.0-inch TFT display, auto dimming IRVM, Honda Sensing ADAS suite and more.

Same Petrol Engine

Under the hood, the new Elevate facelift is likely to retain the existing 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 121bhp and 145Nm of torque. Transmission choices will also remain unchanged, with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed CVT automatic.

Expected Price & Competition

The 2026 Honda Elevate facelift is expected to receive a minor price hike. The pre-facelift model is currently available priced between Rs 11.81 lakh and Rs 16.36 lakh (ex-showroom). In the midsize SUV segment, the new Elevate will continue to compete with the Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Tata Sierra, Skoda Kushaq and Renault Duster.
