Launched in September 2025, the VinFast VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs mark the Vietnamese EV manufacturer’s debut in India. The company aims to operationalize all 35 dealerships by December 2025 with establishment a nationwide network including showrooms, after-sales support and a hassle-free ownership experience.
Earlier this year, VinFast filed a design patent for a 7-seater family EV, and the model has now begun testing on Indian roads. Called the VinFast Limo Green, this electric MPV will be positioned against the Kia Carens Clavis EV, which is currently available within the price range of Rs 17.99 lakh – Rs 24.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It will also take on the BYD eMAX 7 and the upcoming Mahindra XEV 9S. It’s important to note that the carmaker hasn’t yet announced its India launch timeline or confirmed its plan to bring the model here.

Battery & Range
In global markets, the VinFast Limo Green is available with a 60.13kWh battery and an electric motor producing power worth 204bhp and 280Nm). This setup delivers a claimed NEDC range of 450km on a single charge. The 7-seater electric MPV comes with the FWD (front-wheel drive) system and three driving modes – Eco, Comfort and Sport.
Dimensions & Charging Time
Dimensionally, the Vinfast Limo Green measures 4,740mm in length, 1,872mm in width and 1,728mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,840mm. The EV has a ground clearance of 170mm and runs on 18-inch alloy wheels. It supports fast DC charging, taking nearly 30 minutes to charge from 10 to 70% state of charge.

The 7-seater electric MPV is offered in four colour options – Limo Red, Limo Silver, Limo Black and Limo Yellow.
