The Tata Sierra is all set to launch in India on 25th November 2025. Ahead of its official arrival, select Tata dealerships have begun accepting pre-bookings, with amounts ranging between 11,000 – 51,000. The Sierra will initially be introduced with ICE (internal combustion engine) powertrains, while the electric iteration will reach showrooms in January 2026. The ICE-powered variants are expected to come within the price range of Rs 11-12 lakh – Rs 19-20 lakh (ex-showroom).

One of the major highlights of Sierra will be its segment-first triple screen setup, consisting of a touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster and a dedicated screen for the front passenger. Interestingly, it will be the second offering in its segment to offer Dolby Atmos tuned audio system. Other key features include

Tata Sierra Colours
The Sierra SUV lineup will be offered in 6 monotone colour options – Bengal Rouge (Red), Andaman Adventure (Yellow), Mintal Grey, Pristine White, Coorg Clouds (Silver/Light Grey), and Munnar Mist (Green/Grey). There will be no Black colour option or special Black Edition at the time of launch.
Tata Sierra Engine Options
Three engine options will be available with the all-new Sierra SUV including a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5L turbocharged petrol and a 1.5L turbocharged diesel. While the NA petrol engine is likely to produce power worth 120bhp, the turbo-petrol will deliver around 170bhp. The diesel motor will be good enough for 118bhp.
Tata is also considering offering CNG and hybrid powertrains for SUVs measuring over 4 metres. The Sierra EV is expected to share its powertrain with the Harrier EV.
