The next-generation Renault Duster is just a few days away from its official unveiling in India. Scheduled to debut on 26th January 2026, the SUV has already been teased multiple times, revealing its key design details. While official features, engine specifications and other key details will be announced at the time of its debut, here’re how the new 2026 Renault Duster is expected to improve over its predecessor.

Mature Design

In terms of design and styling, the new Renault Duster 2026 will be significantly more evolved and mature, featuring the brand’s new design language. The front fascia will receive radical changes including a newly-designed grille with Renault’s new logo at the centre, a sporty bumper with large air dams, Y-shaped LED headlamps with DRLs and new fog lamp assembly.
The all-new Duster will continue to sport its signature roof rails, bold side creases and massive body cladding. It’s expected to be assembled with 18-inch alloy wheels along with the Y-shaped LED taillamps at the rear.
Premium Interior & Features
In the recent times, the midsize segment has witnessed significant upgrades when it comes to features and technology, intensifying competition. The new 2026 Renault Duster is expected to be packed with several advanced features including a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system a wireless charging pad, a 7-inch colour driver display, wireless smartphone connectivity, a panoramic sunroof, an Arkamys Classic 6-speaker sound system, multiple airbags and Level 2 ADAS (autonomous driving assistance system).
Turbo Petrol & Hybrid Powertrains
As far as engines are concerned, the new Renault Duster 2026 is likely to be offered with a 1.0L, 3-cylinder turbo petrol and 1.3L, 4-cylinder turbo petrol engines. The smaller capacity gasoline unit will be reserved for the lower trims, while the 156bhp, 1.3L turbo-petrol unit will be offered exclusively on the higher variants.
Interestingly, the ICE-powered Renault Duster will soon be joined by a strong hybrid version. Globally, the SUV is available with a 1.6L, 4-cylinder petrol engine paired with dual electric motor, a 1.2kWh battery pack and a high voltage starter generator.
