It’s been a pretty big day for Oppo’s A-series globally, with the introduction of the A6, A6s, and A6x pairs. Last, but definitely not least, we have the A6t trio.
Let’s start with the A6t Pro. This one comes with a 6.75-inch LCD screen with 720×1570 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,125-nit peak brightness, the Snapdragon 685 SoC, a 50MP main camera, a 2MP monochrome camera, an 8MP selfie camera, IP69 dust and water resistance, and a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging.

It measures 166.61 x 78.51 x 8.61mm and weighs 215g. It will be offered in Crystal Violet and Crystal White, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. This phone is identical to the A6s 4G, save for the colorways.
Next up, the A6t 4G. This has the same screen, the same SoC, but only a 6,500 mAh battery, a 13MP main camera with a QVGA monochrome camera, a 5MP selfie camera, and an IP64 rating. The A6t 4G is thus identical to the A6x 4G. The A6t 4G comes in Crystal Violet and Crystal Blue. It has the same measurements as the A6t Pro and the A6x 4G, and weighs 210g like the A6x 4G. The A6t 4G comes in three RAM/storage combos: 4/64GB, 4/128GB, and 6/128GB.

Finally, the A6t 5G comes with the Dimensity 6300 SoC, a 50MP main camera, a 2MP monochrome camera, a 5MP selfie camera, and is otherwise identical to the A6t 4G. It’s also fully identical to the A6x 5G, if you ignore the different colors.

Why there need to be so many versions of what is essentially the same device we’ll never understand. Why would “A6t” be more attractive in some markets than “A6x” or viceversa? No phone maker will ever answer such questions, so all we can do is try to figure out what’s what. Like with all the other A6-series devices launched these past few days, there are no pricing and availability details for these either.
