Mahindra & Mahindra has introduced a special edition of the Thar Roxx lifestyle offroad SUV in India. Called the Mahindra Thar Roxx Star Edn, the edition is offered with three powertrain configurations – petrol-automatic RWD, diesel-manual RWD and diesel-automatic RWD.

The diesel-MT is the most affordable variant priced at Rs 16.85 lakh, while the petrol-AT and diesel-AT are available at Rs 17.85 lakh and Rs 18.35 lakh, respectively. All prices are introductory, ex-showroom.

Mahindra Thar Roxx Star Edition Colours & Desing
The Thar Roxx Star Edition comes in four colour options – Citrine Yellow, Stealth Black, Everest White and Tango Red. On the exterior, the special edition features a piano-black grille and piano-black 19-inch alloy wheels. Similar to the standard model, it continues to offer LED projector headlamps with DRLs, LED fog lamps, LED taillamps and a panoramic sunroof.

The special edition is available with 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L diesel engine options, delivering power worth 152bhp with 320Nm (AT) and 132bhp with 300Nm, respectively. Both manual and automatic gearboxes are on offer. The SUV also comes with Selectable Terrain modes – Snow, Sand and Mud.
