Kia India today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) to significantly expand its public EV charging network, taking its K-Charge ecosystem to over 15,000 charging touchpoints nationwide.

The MoU between Kia India and BPCL was formalised on the sidelines of the 4th edition of India Energy Week 2026, held from 27–30 January at the ONGC Academy Training Institute (ATI), Goa. Under the agreement, over 3,000 BPCL charging points will be onboarded onto Kia’s K-Charge platform, significantly expanding the network’s national footprint.

K-Charge, accessible via the MyKia App and Kia India website, enables customers to seamlessly locate charging stations, navigate to them, and initiate payment for charging through a single, unified digital platform. The infrastructure expansion aligns with Kia India’s growing EV portfolio. Carens Clavis EV, Kia India’s first made-in-India electric vehicle, has received encouraging response for its spacious 7-seater configuration and technology-led offering. Kia’s premium global EVs—the EV6 and flagship EV9—further strengthen the brand’s electric mobility presence in India.
