Nothing is launching its Phone (4a) series on March 5 and the teaser campaign is in full swing. Following plenty of rumors and leaked specs, we finally have an actual look at one of the two devices – the Nothing Phone (4a).
As expected, Phone (4a) will retain the signature semi-transparent look of all previous phones from the Nothing brand. The upcoming device will feature an even more exposed lower back portion with a dual-tone approach and will be available in at least four color options, including white (pictured below), black, blue and pink.
One of the major changes with the Phone (4a) is the Glyph Bar, which replaces the Glyph Interface on previous models. The Glyph Bar is comprised of 6 square LEDs next to the camera island with each square featuring 9 individually controllable mini-LEDs. These will once again be programmable and are confirmed to be even brighter than the LEDs on previous Nothing phones.
We can also see the buttons of the new devices, and it appears that Nothing moved its Essential key to the left-hand side for a more distinct separation from the power and volume keys, which are still on the right.
According to previous leaks, Phone (4a) is getting a 6.78-inch AMOLED display (FHD+ 120Hz), Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and a 5,400mAh battery with 50W wired charging. The trio of cameras on the back will feature a 50MP main, a 50MP telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom and an 8MP ultrawide.
