Samsung Galaxy A57 and A37 EU Energy Labels show some intriguing changes

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra flagships yesterday. The company is also working on the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 mid-rangers, and has been for quite some time judging by the number of leaks we’ve seen about them so far.

The two are definitely launching soon, though, and today their mandatory EU Energy Labels have appeared. These show 52-hour battery life for the A57 and 53 hours for the Galaxy A37, and both phones will be IP68 certified for dust and water resistance. That’s up from IP67 on their predecessors.

Unlike their predecessors, however, both of them are now only certified to reach 1,200 full charging cycles before the battery dips to below 80% of its initial capacity, whereas their predecessors’ batteries went up to a whopping 2,000 cycles. We’ve seen the same backward movement for the flagship Galaxy S26 devices too, by the way.

The A57 and A37 are rated A overall, and they both received a C rating for repairability. The A57 has an A for drop resistance, while the A37 only managed a B. According to the latest rumors, the A57 and A37 should be getting official next month.
