The Mercedes-Benz CLA electric coupe sedan lineup has further been expanded with the introduction of a new CLA 200 Standard Range variant, joining the CLA 250+ Long Range trim. Bookings for both variants are now open, and interested buyers can place an order by paying a sum of Rs 1.5 lakh. Mercedes will begin deliveries of the CLA 250+ Long Range by the end of April, while the CLA 200 Standard Range will be dispatched to customers starting June, 2026.
Expected Prices
While official prices will be announced in April 2026, the Mercedes CLA 200 Standard Range is expected to be priced around Rs 55 lakh, while the Long Range CLA 250+ variant will cost nearly Rs 59 lakh (ex-showroom).
Complimentary Charger & Styling Packages
Mercedes-Benz is offering a complimentary wall box home charger with the new CLA electric coupe sedan; however, it will be available only for customers who pre-book the vehicle. This wall box charger supports charging speeds of up to 22kW. The carmaker has also revealed that the customers will have access to its MB.CHARGE Public network, which include over 9,000 charging points nationwide.
While the CLA 200 Standard Range variant is exclusively offered with the ‘Progressive Line’ styling package, it also gets two trim options, a multifunction sports leather steering wheel and comfort seats. On the other hand, the CLA 250+ Long Range trim comes with the AMG line package.
Battery, Range & Charging Time
Based on an 800V electrical architecture, the Mercedes CLA 250+ features an 85kWh battery pack ad delivers a claimed range of up to 792km on the WLTP cycle. Using a 240kW DC fast charger, it can gain around 400km of range in nearly 20 minutes. The CLA 200 Standard Range version offers a claimed WLTP rang of 542km on a single charge. It can achieve around 320km of range in nearly 20 minutes for charging.
