Hyundai April 2026 Sales – Full Model-Wise Breakdown


April 2026 was a profitable month for Hyundai Motor India. The South Korean automaker recorded total domestic sales of 51,902 units compared to 44,374 units in the same month last year. It reflected an impressive 17% YoY (Year-on-Year) growth. However, sales declined by 6% compared to March 2026.

The Hyundai Creta continued its position as India’s best-selling midsize SUV and the brands’ top-selling model. A total of 15,291 units of the SUV were sold last month last month against 17,016 units in April 2025, resulting in a 10% YoY decline.

Hyundai Venue Knight features

Interestingly, the Hyundai Venue recorded its best-ever month sales of 12,420 units, up significantly from 7,953 units in April 2025. This translated into a strong 56% YoY growth. A total of 4,587 units of the Hyundai Aura were sold last month, driven majorly by strong demand from the fleet segment. The sedan posted an 9% MoM growth against 4,224 units in April 2025.

The Hyundai Exter compact crossover was the brand’s fourth best-selling model, with sales of 8,096 units as opposed to 5,416 units in April 2025. The Hyundai i20 Elite and Grand i10 hatchbacks registered combined sales of 9,773 units. Of these, the i20 contributed 5,624 units, while the Grand i10 Nios accounted for 4,149 units.

Hyundai’s Verna and Alcazar witnessed significant declines of 14% and 16% YoY, respectively. The carmaker sold only 20 units of the Ioniq 5 premium EV in April 2026.
