2026 Honda City Facelift Leaked – New Design, Features & Expected Prices


The new 2026 Honda City facelift has been leaked ahead of its official launch on May 22, 2026. The leaked images confirm that the sedan will receive a heavily revised front fascia featuring a redesigned grille with a honeycomb mesh, revised LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, a slightly updated bumper with new angular inserts and the new signature H logo on the bonnet. The lower air dam gets triangular pods on either side.

The side profile remains largely unchanged. However, higher variants are expected to come with equipped with newly-designed alloy wheels. At the back, it might feature a revised bumper and redesigned taillamps.

More Features

Interior details are limited at the moment. However, the new 2026 Honda City facelift is expected come with an updated touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, a powered driver’s seat, connected car features and a 360-degree camera.

On the safety front, the new Honda City 2026 will continue to offer Honda Sensing ADAS suite, 6 airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system, hill start assist, vehicle stability assist and more.

Engines To Remain Unchanged

Under the hood, the new City is expected to feature the same 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine, pushing out power worth 121PS and 145Nm of torque. The City hybrid will be available with the same 1.5L strong hybrid powertrain, producing power worth 124PS.

Transmission options will remain unchanged as well. The NA petrol variant will be offered with a 6-speed manual and a CVT automatic gearbox, while the strong hybrid version will come with an e-CVT transmission.

Minor Price Hike Expected

With subtle cosmetic updates and feature enhancements, the 2026 Honda City facelift is expected to see a minimal price hike. Currently, the City petrol is available within the price range of Rs 12 lakh – Rs 16.07 lakh, while the City hybrid costs at Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
