India’s top-selling SUV, the Hyundai Creta is set to receive a full generational upgrade next year. The carmaker has already stated testing the new model, and multiple sightings of the test mules have revealed several interesting details. Here’re the five biggest changes we know so far about the upcoming new 2027 Hyundai Creta SUV.
1. Bigger Than Before
Spy shots reveal that the new Creta will grow in dimensions. The test mules appear longer and wider than the current model, hinting at a more spacious cabin. Similar to the Kia Seltos, the new Hyundai Creta 2027 could witness an increase of 95mm in length, 30mm in width and 80mm in wheelbase.

2. Sharper Design Language
The new Creta is expected to be built on Hyundai’s new K3 platform, which also underpins the new Kia Seltos. The SUV will also carry a sharper design language, and might derive some styling elements from the second-generation Seltos. Spy images suggest that it will feature the new Venue-inspired LED headlamps with eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs along with revised front bumper and newly-designed alloy wheels.

3. Pleos Connect
One of the biggest upgrades will come in the form of Hyundai’s Pleos Connect system, which will include a large centre touchscreen and a slim driver’s display. It will feature built-in Gleo AI for performing multiple in-car functions through voice commands. The new app market will also enable third-party app creation and integration into the Pleos Connect.
4. Updated ADAS & More
Inside the cabin, the new Hyundai Creta 2027 is likely to get new upholstery and trims. In terms of features, the SUV might receive an upgraded ADAS suite, front seat headrest adjustable headrests for rear seat passengers and several advanced tech.
5. Hybrid Powertrain
Hyundai is working on a new strong hybrid powertrain, which is expected to debut with the new 2027 Hyundai Creta. It’s likely to be based on the existing 1.5L petrol engine. The new-gen model lineup will also be available with the existing 115bhp, 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, 160bhp, 1.5L turbo petrol and 116bhp, 1.5L diesel engine options. Transmissions choices are also likely to remain unchanged.
