iOS 27 announced, Galaxy S27 leaks, Week 24 in review


It was a jam-packed week as Apple introduced a slew of new updates at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference. The big new addition coming to iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, and visionOS 27 is the all-new Siri AI, which brings an overhauled set of capabilities.

They’re available for developers today and a public beta will come next month.


It is a separate app and is based on Google’s Gemini models, featuring on-device processing, while also relying on Apple’s Private Cloud Compute. Apple Intelligence is also smarter now with improved integration across first-party apps.

Google cut down pricing for its AI plan to $5 while also doubling the cloud storage to 400GB.

OnePlus announced its Turbo 6X and 6X Pro in China. The Pro brings an 8,000mAh Si-C battery with 80W charging, a nicer 6.78-inch M14 AMOLED (1.5K + 144Hz), MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Super chip and a 50MP (main) + 8MP (ultrawide) camera setup. Turbo 6X Pro is available in black and orange colors. It starts at CNY 1,999 ($295/€255 converted) for the 8/128GB trim and goes up to CNY 2,399 ($354/€306 converted) for the 12/256GB.

The non-Pro makes do with a 7,000mAh battery with 45W charging, a 6.72-inch LCD (FHD+ 144Hz), Dimensity 7360 Super chip and a 50MP (main) + 2MP (macro) cam setup. It starts at CNY 1,899 ($280/€243 converted) for the 8/128GB variant and goes up to CNY 2,299 ($340/€294 converted) for the 12/256GB.
