In a separate post, we looked at the Samsung flagship series – now let’s have a peek at Google’s top Android phones (well, the non-folding ones, anyway). Google also has a small and a large flagship in its lineup. However, unlike the Galaxy line where the two models are quite different, the two Pixel Pros are as similar as possible.
The Google Pixel 10 Pro XL has a 6.8” display and a 5,200mAh battery. Meanwhile, the smaller Pro has a 6.3” display and a 4,870mAh battery. Both are powered by the same Tensor G5 chipset.
The differences in screen size and battery capacity even out, so both phones have essentially the same endurance – 12:29h Active Use Score for the XL and 12:06h for the small model. And while the charge ratings are slightly different, they even out too – 1:22h and 1:28h to full, respectively. This is for wired charging – if you are using wireless, then the times to 100% are 2:37h and 2:20h, respectively.
The Google Pixel 10 Pro is more compact, though it’s not exactly petite – it measures 8.5mm thick and weighs 207g. The good news is that it features the exact same cameras as its bigger sibling – a 50MP 1/1.31” main, a 48MP 5x/113mm periscope and a 48MP 123° ultra-wide module on the back, plus a 42MP ultra-wide selfie on the front.
Also, both phones will get access to the latest Android version faster than any other series for another 6 years – they already updated to Android 17. And both have satellite SOS, plus a budding Pixelsnap ecosystem of magnetic accessories (chargers, power banks and others).
