iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya teased the launch of a new Z11 series smartphone yesterday, which, he revealed today, is the Z11 Lite.
Marya’s X post suggests the iQOO Z11 Lite is aimed at students and Gen Z, while a post by iQOO’s Indian branch says the smartphone is “Built to keep up,” “Powered by AI,” and “Made to stand out.”
Neither X post reveals the specs and features of the iQOO Z11 Lite, but they did reveal the smartphone’s design. The Z11 Lite features a vertically aligned camera island on the back, but it’s unclear if it houses two cameras or just one. On the right side of the camera module is the LED flash, below which is a circular ring for notifications and possibly other purposes.

The iQOO Z11 Lite will be sold on Amazon.in in India, but it may also be available on iQOO’s official Indian website. We’ll know more about the Z11 Lite as we inch closer to its launch.
Speaking of India, a tipster on X claims the iQOO 16 may not launch there, as its pricing could exceed INR85,000 due to current memory prices. The iQOO 15 launched in India last year with a base price of INR72,999, and multiple officials have confirmed to us on multiple occasions that the iQOO 15 Ultra is unlikely to launch in India due to cost constraints.

The tipster also claims that iQOO will only launch one budget Z Series smartphone in India this year, which could be the Z11 Lite. All other products have been canceled. If the iQOO 16 doesn’t launch in India, the iQOO 15R will be the only high-end smartphone that launched in the country this year.
