Samsung will kick off the pre-reservation campaign for the Galaxy Z Fold8, Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Flip8 and the new Galaxy Watches tomorrow, July 8, claims tipster Abhishek Yadav.
This tracks with Samsung’s usual timeline. For example, pre-reservations for the Galaxy S26 series started on February 11, exactly two weeks ahead of the official unveiling on February 25. Samsung has let it slip that the new foldables will be unveiled on July 22, i.e. exactly two weeks after tomorrow.
All the Galaxy Z Folds that came before
The company just confirmed that the Z Fold8 and Z Fold8 Ultra will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy. The Z Flip8 will as well, at least in select regions – it will use the Exynos 2600 in Europe and South Korea. Speaking of chipsets, the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2 should use the Snapdragon Wear Elite.
Anyway, these pre-reservation campaigns are really just a way to get people to set a reminder for the big event – Samsung usually offers a small discount and other perks to entice you to sign up.
