Last week, Redmi confirmed that its new Note 17 lineup would debut in China this month. The company has now announced the launch date for the series while also revealing its design and some of its key features.
The Redmi Note 17 and Redmi Note 17 Pro are set to launch in China on July 14. Based on the official teaser images, the standard model will feature a single rear camera housed in a squarish camera module.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro, meanwhile, appears to sport a dual rear camera setup with a similar camera island.
The teaser also showcases the handset in a new “Clear Blue” colourway. Redmi has further confirmed that the Pro model will feature Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and an IP69K rating for dust and water resistance.
A recent leak also revealed the key specifications of the two phones. The Redmi Note 17 is tipped to feature a 6.83-inch display, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, a 9,000mAh battery, and a 50MP primary rear camera.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro is expected to offer similar core specifications but with a 200MP primary rear camera. The remaining details, including pricing and availability, will be revealed at the launch event next week.
