A few days ago a tipster claimed that OnePlus would not be releasing the 15T in India as the 15s, a move that was expected given the fact that the 13T got launched in India as the 13s last year.
Now a new rumor from Digital Chat Station in China says OnePlus is already busy working on the 16T, a device that isn’t going to arrive until next year.

Unsurprisingly, the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset, though it’s unclear if it will be the vanilla option or the Pro. The 16T will also have a 6.3-inch flat screen with an “ultra-high” refresh rate. Other specs apparently haven’t been finalized yet.
So while in India, the smaller flagship device line seems to have been discontinued, at least for now, in China it appears to be quite successful, since the company is already working on the next iteration. It remains to be seen whether the 16T might make it to India as the 16s. We’ll let you know when we find out more.
