Air India has released details about changes in its international flight schedule for the date of April 8, 2026. The airline has cancelled all its scheduled operations for several destinations in the Gulf region and only maintains connectivity on selected routes via ad hoc operations.As per the information provided by Air India about its operations, there are no scheduled operations for several destinations in the UAE including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and Sharjah. However, ad hoc operations have been maintained for several destinations like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, but there are no scheduled sectors to Ras Al Khaimah.

There are ad hoc operations between Delhi and Dubai. Moreover, there are additional ad hoc operations between Sharjah and other cities in India like Amritsar and Kannur. Ad hoc operations are also maintained from Abu Dhabi, which connect with Delhi, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mangalore, and Mumbai.On the other hand, Al Ain is totally inactive without any scheduled or ad hoc flights recorded for the day.In Oman, Muscat is one of the rare airports where the scheduled operations are active. There are flights to and from Muscat and Indian cities like Delhi, Kannur, Mumbai, and Thiruvananthapuram. However, there are no ad hoc operations in the schedule for this route. Furthermore, there are no scheduled or ad hoc flights for Salalah at present.

Regarding Saudi Arabia, the operations are partially active. There are scheduled flights to Jeddah, with connections to Delhi, Mumbai, Kozhikode, and Mangalore via Air India Express. On the contrary, there are no scheduled or ad hoc flights to Riyadh and Dammam.In addition to the suspension of the services mentioned above, there are still several other international routes that are suspended. There are no scheduled or ad hoc flights planned for destinations such as Doha, Kuwait City, Bahrain, and Tel Aviv.
