Amazfit launches a beta feature for iOS notification forwarding

Amazfit has been working on delivering better notifications from your iPhone to its smart wearables. The company now officially announced the start of a beta testing program for its iOS Notification Forwarding feature. But there’s a catch – the beta access is available only to users located in the EU.

The new notification handling allows not just basic alerts, but also supports interaction with compatible apps. You can now view entire messages, reply, send a quick response or mark as read directly on your smartwatch.

The integration works with supported apps, like WhatsApp. Image previews and visual alerts are also available. For instance, you can receive alerts containing images from your doorbell and see them directly on your wrist.

Amazfit’s new iOS notifications

Amazfit is opening the beta program to the Cheetah 2 Ultra, Balance Ultra and Balance 3, while the Bip Max, Active 3 Premium, Cheetah 2 Pro, T-Rex 3, 3 Pro and Ultra 2, and Balance 2 smartwatches will be included in the program in the following weeks or months.

The beta testing period kicks off tomorrow, June 30, and Amazfit will gradually update the Zepp App via the iOS App Store. But in order to participate, you need to have iOS 26.5 or later running.

The good news is that once updated, the app will prompt you with a notification asking you if you’d like to have the new feature enabled. There’s also an easy manual activation through the Devices > Notifications > App Notifications menu.
