Ather Energy Limited has announced that it has crossed 700 Experience Centres (ECs) across India. Over the past year, Ather has added over 350 new Experience Centres, effectively doubling its retail network from 351 centres in India as of March 31, 2025. This rapid expansion has played a key role in driving Ather’s growth across markets, improving accessibility and enabling the company to scale across both existing and new markets.
Over the past year, Ather’s expanded retail footprint has helped the company reach a much wider set of customers, contributing to its national market share rising to 18.7% in March 2026, according to Vahan data. This growth has been driven by the strong success of the Ather Rizta, Ather’s first family scooter, which has sold over 2.8 lakh units since its launch, significantly expanding Ather’s reach into new customer segments and unlocking demand across newer markets. This, along with continued demand for the Ather 450 performance series, has driven consistent growth across regions.
Ather’s retail expansion in FY26 has been strategically focused on Middle India and Rest of India, enabling faster scale-up in these markets and driving meaningful gains in share. This has translated into strong momentum across both regions, with Ather seeing nearly 2X increase in . At the same time, the company continues to deepen its presence in South India while expanding into Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, building a more balanced and widespread national footprint.
Commenting on the milestone, Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy, said, “The last year has been about scaling our retail footprint as a key lever for growth. While we’ve increased our Experience Centre count across all geographies, the expansion in Middle India and to some degree in Rest of India has been particularly aggressive. This has allowed us to target new geographies and segments, which have led to strong volume and market share gains. We believe we still have headroom for growth, and will continue on this path over the next few quarters.”
Alongside its retail expansion, Ather has continued to strengthen its ecosystem to support a seamless ownership experience. Last month, the company announced that it had crossed 500 authorised service centres across India, ensuring reliable after-sales support in every city where it operates. In addition, Ather Grid, India’s largest two-wheeler fast-charging network, has grown to over 4,357 fast-charging and neighbourhood charging points globally (as of December 31 2025), enabling convenient and accessible charging for riders.
