Farman Haider, who plays the role of Shivaay in Rahul Kumar Tewary’s Jagadhatri, is full of gratitude as the show completed 100 episodes recently. He believes it is a blessing and thanks the audience for their unconditional love and support.He said, “Television has changed a lot over the past few years. Today, shows struggle to survive even for two months, and therefore when one is able to have a successful run of 100 episodes, it feels unreal and surreal. Completing 100 episodes is a bigger milestone than words can explain.”“As an actor, you are invested in a show emotionally, mentally, and physically, and this milestone is a big reward for that. For me, it is also a reminder that hard work and consistency always pay off. I am beyond happy and grateful to the audience for this,” he added.He feels that every character must progress, as it keeps the audience interested. And he mentioned that in the past 100 episodes, his character has become more layered, which makes it exciting for him to play it.He said, “My character has gone through a lot of emotional highs and lows and has seen multiple layers added to his personality. This growth makes him connect to the audience, as it is a basic human tendency. While the character has evolved in its own way, that has in turn helped me grow as an actor too because I was able to explore new dimensions in my performance.”
Farman acknowledged that the relatability factor is one of the reasons the show has been able to lock the audience’s attention. He said, “I am grateful to the audience for the love and support. And I would like to thank the writers and makers of the show for introducing new situations and twists to the story. Our show has drama, emotion, suspense, strong characters, and powerful dialogues that keep the audience interested.“He went on to call the cast and crew of his show his extended family and said, “We are working every day, spending so much time together, sharing laughs, and eating our meals that it feels like home. The environment on the set is quite positive and supportive. We have mutual respect for each other, and that shows on the set and in our performance.”He is grateful to Rahul Kumar Tewary for his guidance and vision. He said, “He knows what he wants, his vision is so clear, and he doesn’t put any pressure on anyone. I feel it’s his confidence that pushes us to perform better every day.
