Limited editions are all the rage in many different fields, and Google apparently wants to play this game too. So it’s preparing a Pixel phone that will be limited to only one market – it’s not limited in the number of units available (that we know of), but will only be sold in Japan.
What is this mystery device? Google’s official X account for Japan has released the teaser image you can see below. And while it doesn’t outright say what device this is, we’re going to go ahead and assume it’s just a colorway for an existing phone, a hue that won’t be available elsewhere.

Since Google’s most recent handset is the Pixel 10a, it stands to reason that this is a blue, indigo-ish (given what the teaser shows) version of that device. All of this is conjecture on our part, but the good news is that the phone (whichever it may be) will be announced in just a few hours, so we’ll find out soon enough.
