Introduction
HiLight, Hi Tensor G6, Hi Pixel 11 Pro XL. The largest member of the new Pixel series is here, bringing new hardware, new features, and an improved zoom camera. The complete Android 17 experience with Gemini Intelligence is part of the deal, of course.
The Pixel 11 Pro XL comes with an improved design and new colorways. Its build has not changed, though – Gorilla Glass Victus 2 panels and an aluminum frame. The whole thing is still IP68-rated for dust and water resistance.
The phone packs a 6.8-inch OLED screen with high resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and now an improved peak brightness of up to 3,600 nits.
The star of the Pixel 11 Pro XL should be the new Tensor G6 chip focused on efficiency and AI computing power.
Most people get a Pixel for the camera experience, and the new 11 Pro XL promises even better photo quality. While the primary, ultrawide, and selfie cameras haven’t changed since the Pixel 10 Pro XL, the 48MP zoom camera gets a larger sensor for higher-quality shots and videos. But that’s not all. The cameras support the new Best Capture feature, which is basically your AI photographer. But more on that later.
Finally, the Pixel 11 Pro XL relies on a 5,115mAh battery with 45W wired and 25W wireless charging. Even if its battery is a bit smaller than the previous generation, the Pixel 11 Pro XL should last longer with the help of an adaptive battery AI control.
And now, before revealing which new color we decided to get, let’s take a quick look at the specs sheet.

The Pixel 11 Pro XL is not the first Pixel to be shrouded in controversy, and it will probably not be the last. This year, the specific Imagination GPU inside the Tensor G6 isn’t widely supported, and it even lacks support for hardware ray tracing. We will explore this in more detail below.
